Someone correct me if I am wrong, but I believe the JR team had a Glasair with a DA 200 on alcohol, that clocked in on radar at 267 MPH, at Joe Nall................!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was the loudest damn RC plane I have ever heard, and I really have a hard time believing the pilot had total control of it, but he did. It is just something that you HAD to see, and the pilot is to be commended. Talking about low rates, I doubt the ailerons moved more than an 1/8 of an inch at speed, if that.
