If it's my TF Corsair crash you're wandering about, I must confess it was my building error. I used a silicone exhaust deflector to exit the exhaust pipe from the cowl. BIG MISTAKE! The hot 4 stroke exhaust gases burned through that deflector, through the firewall, and melted my retract air lines and on/off switch. I was lucky in that the repairs were relatively minor and the plane was saved.
By the way, I incorporated your rounded fuse front, fin and rudder mods, wingtip mod, and simulated exhaust stack mod in that build, along with many others. I knew I definitely needed to use the rounded fuse front mod for airflow to that SP engine. That's an ingenious way of doing it, and practical too!
