Default RE: New Sebart Wind 50E

Ok, just flew my baby Wind. Plane flies really nicely. As many have said above, it is currently under powered. I flew it with the only prop that has arrived so far which is a 17X8, and I knew that was going to be too small. I was only drawing about 43amps. Going to a 17X12 or so should help the performance as after 5 minutes of flying around nothing was even remotely warm, so I can start bumping the props up. It was really windy here, approaching 20mph, and the plane still flew pretty well. I have some larger props enroute to try, but that'll be after I get back from a trip for work next week. I'm also going ahead and getting a couple of 6S packs which I know will fix the issue, but I'm still going to do some playing to see if I can find a 5S setup that will work. Very happy with how the plane flies, but wasn't able to really do any trimming in the wind. Took about 2 clicks of up elevator and 1 click of left aileron, but those are subject to change, simply because of the conditions.
