Mike,
I know your asking Rob, but for another confirmation I do the same. The rule of thumb is, metal to metal=blue loctite. Plastic to plastic=CA. Your question......can you get something apart? yes you can. On rare ocassion sometimes the CA won't pop loose so you take a hot soldering iron and put it to the screw head and then in a few moments try the screw again and your home free.
