No don't use regular CA, use Foam compatible CA. IF you can locate a club in your area, maybe they can give you a hand. I'm not a big fan of single stick tx for learning, then you switch over to 4 channel radio, and its like starting all over, find yourself something with ailerons, and a friendly club
