My comment didn't go through, very odd.

My experience has been the psychology of HL is to suck one into buying several "bargain" tanks which become "money pits" as one becomes more demanding of function, detail and refinement. Thus my opinion that buying a $575 Tamiya and kitting it out for a final cost of ~$1000 is money better spent than getting five HL's in my case and then kitting each one out with several hundred extra dollars (3:1's, upgraded suspension, tracks, DBU/DBC, ElMod or other sound, maybe an asiatam hull,<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: 12.1528px; ">better speaker,</span>etc. etc.)

BTW the level of fit and detail on my VS Tank 1/24 scale Tiger is far beyond the HL standard, the turret is the correct shape, the molded details are crisp, clean and sharp. Really excellent value for the money.<br type="_moz" />
