RE: New Decathlons From Seagull 91 and 120 Size!
I just flew my SG Decathlon. I used the stock fuel tank location and recommended throws. Depending on the CG it doesn't take much elevator to move the short fuse. I didn't have any trouble working from the door hole. Just use a short Phillips for the servo screws. I cut a hatch under the nose for the ignition battery and mounted the Life rx battery over the tank. CG was spot on 80mm. There is a nice, flat square section there with no structural members. I used a CRRC26V2 for more power. All it needed was some 1/4" spacers to set the motor distance. Used the pitts style muffler from VVRC for the motor. It might fit the G20. The 26 fit fine with minimal cowl cutting required. I have a 16x8 on it but will try a 16x10 later. Flies great but is challenging on the takeoff roll.
