To be honest I set my car on the table and took a tape measure and started looking at number that would kind of be to scale for the garage. I wish the over hang was further out but the reason for it being a bit short was because it still needs to fit in my car. LOL I was planning on doing a 2 car garage but that would have been around 35in long and 13in deep.

The wood I got from Michaels Arts & Crafts. I found them to be half the price of AC Moore craft store. The wood is 1/8x12x24, $3.99 a sheet. Also used 1/2 square dowel rods, cut in 2 inch strips and a bit of crazy glue to hold everything together. Turns out the crazy glue is 10x stronger than using wood glue and dries in seconds. You'll also find in the craft store really thin wood. Which is what I used for the trim around the roof. It came 4x24 and was super thin, maybe like 1/8 inch. I should have gone with something a little stiffer but it'll do for now. I have ideas for murals on the walls and on the inside wall of the overhang. I'll post up once that's done. Probably on Tuesday when I'm off.
