Ok im a complete newbie at this and i jus bought a new redcat earthquake 3.5 on ebay. I was super excited to get it in and when it finally arrived i wanted to break it in right away. So i made sure i read the manual and listened to all the things i should do before i started the car. I made sure the high speed seting was at 4 1/2 turns, made sure i primmed the engine before i started the motor. I bought the my red cat that came with the complete starter kit (tools and the igniter). So i do all of that and could not for the life of me get the thing to start. I have to mention that i did leave the igniter charged over night and it was super hit when i pulled it out. I am a noobie so i thought this was ok? I tried for 2 hours to get the motor started and failed horrible. I thought i flooded the engine so i did the recommendations (turned the igniter to loosen the compression, flipped the car over and pulled the cord to get rid of the flood) nothing happened, still no start. That is when i decided to give it a rest for a couple of hours. I came back and to try and start it again, i decided to use a different igniter that my cousin had bought from the hobby store. A couple of cranks and the motor started up, i ran it at idle to break it in but it ran for 5 min and shut off? i started it again and it started fine but it cut off again after another couple minutes. I tried to start it again for a third ime and now it wont even start. I've been trying for the past couple days now to get it going but with no luck. Can anyone help me out? I havent even seen my car run antwhere and i had soo much high hopes for this new hobby. Please any suggestions or reasons why my car isnt running will be much appreciated. Thanks
