Ultra Stick Identification
I have "acquired" a rather large RC airplane from my neighbor, that has minor damage, most of which I have repaired already, but need a few wing ribs. It is definitely a ARF, and I believe it's a Hangar 9 Ultra stick. I have searched here on RC Universe, and the Hangar 9 site, but don't see a picture of my airplane. The closest picture I see of it is the Hangar 9 Ultra stick "lite", and this is NOT a "Lite". The wingspan measures about 71 inches, and the fuselage is about 55 inches. The elevators and rudder have round lightening holes, which is different from the "lite". I have also searched the RC Universe site for "Ultra Stick" but the biggest shown is the .60 size. The stickers on the plane say "Ultra Stick", but no manufacturers name anywhere. Im convinced it's a "Ultra Stick 120" but the only 120 sized I can find is the "Lite"....ANYWAY....it's no big deal, I just need to order some balsa and ply woods for the repair, and Im having a hard time finding a source for these woods....Theres no "hobby shops" around the Atlanta area that I can find, so any help from here will be appreciated....I have been flying RC for about 8 years, but it's been several years since I've flown. Im sure I can fly this airplane, once I get a good used weedeater engine on it, and of coarse another radio system with servos....she'll be in the air by summer...Thanks in advance...Mark in Hiram, Georgia.
