Default Is the Slowstick a good beginner plane?

The Slow Stick is a great, easy flying electric, but in my opinion, glow powered trainers are easier to learn on. The power-to-weight ratio is normally greater in a glow model, and that can make it much easier to learn to fly (much less stalling on climbs, etc).
By the time you buy the slow stick, radio, micro servos, ESC, battery(s) and charger, you'll be in almost as deep as you would be for a RTF glow trainer package. I say bag the video camera idea for now, and spend the money on a RTF glow trainer package. Just my opinion.
