i found an dr1 but the guy wants 500.00 for the kit new in the box. thats way to pricey. i could order all the parts, and make one up,but that gets stupid as well. the hunt goes on.
Keep pestering Great Planes that you want them to come back with the .60 Fokker DR1, I hound them every 6 months. I guess I'm on the border of having it called harrassment? [&:]
If enough people pester them to bring back a discontinued plane, they do bring it back.
I paid $300.00 for mine and it was in sad shape. It was still a steal due to it had a mint condition 1984 before surpass O.S.- 1.20FS in it and good JR servo's.
Right now you'ld be lucky to find the Great Planes .60 Fokker DR1 for less than $400.00 because it is now considered a collectors item. I fouind mine here at RCU Market Place and drove 400 miles to pick it up. It was worth it.
