Default RE: Help for the new guy

I use the Zippy Flightmax 6S 4000 20C pack in my Great Planes Reactor. I have just one pair of them but they have been fantastic! I probably fly about 8 minutes of pattern type aerobatics with a little 3D thrown in here and there. I'll usually end the flight with 3 or 4 touch-n-goes. The plane only weighs about 6 lbs though. I'm not sure what the projected weight of Wind 50 is.
I'm pretty sure those are the batteries I'm going to order.

Now on to reciever battery, I noticed in Steve's plane he has a flat lithium type battery (maybe 2.5 inches square) and I searched and see they are 7.4 volts, so I'll need a regulator to take that down to a voltage I can safely plug into my reciever ? and that will operate the servos ?

Steve, my theory is to get all these beginner questions answered here then I won't be such a pain in the butt at the field.

Weight of the Wind 50 is about 80 oz. if there are still 16 oz. in a pound then it will weigh about 5 lbs. so that sounds good.
