Default RE: BFM 80 single Cylinder Engine with gear

It was a little bit "qiute" in this thread - but i have a lot of work... an the results are satisfying!

The watercooled engine is flying first time a few weeks ago -

here is a link to the video
http://www.rcmovie.de/video/a7fafddb6c2bd344e7a5/TOTAL-IRRE-!!!.

- by the way: watercooling is for the totally crazy ! #

and:you see the first start: i have no rudder servo-function - it was really hard !

the first flights I use a 4 BLade scale-shaped SEP 28" x 26" - with that i have 34 kg thrust - and more than enough speed in the air.
The Model is only a test - trainer for my engines with 3m wingspan and 22 kg....

And the nexrt test is made with two carburetors th check out the accekeeration out of the idling - and the max. power
The max power doesnt change - but the acceleration is phenomenal. The serial Engines will come with two carbs. It is no big thing to adjust it.

here are ground runs of the two carb - version - i have no flying video - I was alone on the airfield. (at this day The weather was only for a hardcore-pilot good enough)
