I believe there is a mistake in the Operator's Manual for the DLE 30 on page nine (9)
step three (3). It states ''Next, set the engine at the top of the compression stroke. Note
the position of the ignition magnet with engine inverted''
I think it should read, Next, set the engine at the beginning of the compression stroke.
Note the position of the ignition magnet with engine inverted.
This would also match the picture above step three (3)

that's what made the posistion confusing indeed.
looking at the manual of the DLE55 says "beginning of the compression stroke"...........LOL
i was going to use a practice 18x6 prop anyways, but thought i'd ask so i was at least close to sanity[:-]
