Yesterday was a perfect day to fly. High 20's in the morning, 40's and sunny in the afternoon with no wind. Of course I decided to spend the day with my wife yesterday and go flying today instead. We had a great day but what did i wake up to this morning? Rain. Talk about making the wrong choice. Oh well.

Graybeard, how do all the nutty Vegas drivers handle the snow? I got caught in Tahoe last weekend. It was beautiful but cold and digging the car out for the long, slow drive home was no fun. I also somehow managed to lose my wedding ring in my gloves and then drop it into the snow where I never found it again so it was a silent drive home too.[img][/img]<br type=''_moz'' />
Most of them handle it better then I thought. I'm up quite a bit higher then the strip and they are saying maybe snow tonight. Year before last I got into my snow gear and walked down to the bottom of our hill and drove peoples cars up here for them. Some dip stick came to a halt in front of my wife then he went into low gear and my wife couldn't get her Stang moving again. I went down in my van with the traction control and traded cars with her. Left the dip stick in low gear slipping back down the hill and took of and around him while I was in third. I was going sideways though, only right side rear wheel drive but it's a stick. Other then the one dumbdumb most the folks seem to do well.
I also noiticed this county has no snow plows. Why bother for once every year or two.
Think Fresno with 10 inches of snow on the ground only I think maybe better. A lot of Utah folks live here. That and folks from back East and the mid west. It was a surprise though.
