Default RE: NEW DLE 20cc Gasser! (Data & Links 1st Post)

Here's the business end of my Great Planes RV-4 with the DLE 20 in place of the Saito 125. I'm expecting to be a few ounces heavier but the plane flew so well with the 125 at about 10 lbs that I can't imagine the extra weight will matter.... and an uptic in power would be welcome. I'd love to be able to do aerobatics with just a bit more authority. Don't want to hover or any foolishness like that (for an RV-4), just fly it scale and have a bit of power to pull out if I get into any trouble at all. This is the just the latest in my move to electric and gas... I hope to see the last of my glow go away in the next year! First prop will be the APC 17x6. Depending on the result I may go dig out a wide blade 17x6 APC I modified from an 18x6W a year or two back for another airplane. If/when we get a warm spell and I get a chance to break it in a bit, I'll take it up for a spin and do some taching and such. The ignition unit is tied to the bottom of the motor box and I'm awaiting a new cowl so I can get rid of the extra holes but it should fly the way it is for now.
