Default RE: Baby classic pattern planes are here!

I'm working on the canopy issues. I'm checking Park Flyer Plastics, and Wing Mfg for canopies that are real close. I'm sure Keith @ PFP will have something already for most of them, at least close enough.

Trouble Maker: no canopy needed.
Banshee: Built up will work as good as clear plastic, but will eventually have one made, using built up as a plug.
Curare: Very standard shape canopy, should be able to find a match easily. A small Extra canopy will be very close.
Mach One: Hardest to match with exiisting. Just checked the .60 sized Banshee and Mach One canopies next to each other, and a lengthened built up Banshee canopy would be very close, and eventually a clear made form that plug. I will work on a built up tonight.
A lot of the rest I will be doing aren't special shaped canopies, either bubble canopies or Extra=like canopies, both type are easy to match.

My take on it is to get a batch of kits to choose from, then worry about the canopies, since very few builders start a plane the day they get it. They get in line on the bench waiting to be built , and the canopies aren't deal breaker in flight.

There will be a couple day delay getting the first batch sent out. I need to redo the part layouts to fit on 24" sheets of balsa, for shipping reasons. If I keep it to 24" sheets, the box can be shipped internationally using First Class International Mail which is a lot cheaper than using Priority International. That is a big concern, since I sell a lot of kits overseas, and with the lower priced kits, the shipping price makes a big difference.
