Fantastic info on brushless motors. Ron's post's clarified things a lot. I knew there had to be some differences to industrial AC motors, since those have a fixed rpm. The tech jargon would be a bit much for anyone without an electrical or engineering background. I'm glad an EE was in the discussion.
