The Traxxas products seem durable but it doesn't look like you get to assemble anything.

Eventually you will have assembled the whole vehicle after you break enough parts

Hell could buy a used roller take it apart clean it good, and rebuild it piece by piece to your specs.

Or if you really want some assembling fun buy a 1/8th nitro roller, and convert it to electric(I usually have alot of fun doing this one)
