I called the US reps for Hacker. They were adamant that 17x10 on 10S is a good place to start with 10S. They said pushing the motor to 2200-2500W is OK. I almost bought one but they were out of stock at that time.

I might play it safe and start with a 17x8 - I actually bought both before I heard the motor was on back order.
