As if paying a lot for a plane is any guarantee against this occuring... or will "fix" overstressing the airframe.

I've had several of the major players planes come apart w/o undue forces, due to poor designs in retentions, etc. much to the surprise of onlookers.

The OP is advised to go over ANY model carefully, no matter the vendor or price.
