I have never seen a good RTR servo on a 1/5 scale.. But if I recall FG RTRs come with Hitec Servos and Radio.. THats the only one I know of that comes with good servos.
I have never had a problem with HPI's 1/5 scale RTR servos. Worst case you put a metal gear kit in place of the stock plastic gears, but the electronics were fine.
