The kits will come with no gear. You can go either no gear for flying off grass, or go tail dragger, or trike, retracts or fixed gear, whatever fits your flying needs, and how much weight (wing loading) you want to add.

I added a picture to the web site showing a Trouble Maker fuse, sheeted wing, stab, fin, and dorsal fin on a scale. That is most of the fuse parts, and it comes to only 6.8 ounces. All will be similar weight, since the construction is the same for all of them. These will be light planes when done.
