Hey RC,

I have a couple of instruction manuals from 1st US R/C Flight School - David A. Scott.

In the Sports Aerobatics manual he talks about Improving Airplane Performance - Thicker Control Surfaces. Not to bore ya with the details & nettin' it out - he recommends adding 1/16" each side of control surfaces (aile, rudd & elev) - most important being the ailerons - "resulting in smoother and more layered air flows".

Just sayin' ...
