It looks like it could be an original MT. Would need more pictures though to be sure. Also looks like it has some upgrades on it already. Those look like aluminum shocks. Most of the parts line up the same so you shoule be ok.

Has anyone tried the blue grove electric conversion for the MT2?
There is a member that posts in the general forum that has the blue groove elec conversion from what I get hes a bit disappointed in how the battery mounts.

And chevymanmike1010
parts that are a direct swap for the MT1 off the MT2
Arms, bulkheads, gear cases, center gear holder, knuckles, C-hubs, rear wheel hubs, steering setup, shocks(MT2's are longer and mount on the C-hubs), dogbones, and bearings

Parts that require a few things to be swapped, but no real mods made
Front bumper, body mounts, front, and rear shock towers. All those most be replaced at the same time.

MT2 Chassis plate requires the MT2 radio tray. Unless you want to drill alot of holes, to use the MT2 radio tray on a MT1 3-4 holes have to be drilled (I did it once)

MT2 driveshafts will NOT fit (found that out the hard way). The MT2 uses different a larger sized cups for the center gears cups, and the cups that drive the diffs. So to use its drive shafts you need to change the diffs cups, and the cups on the center gear
