I tell you guys. I have been running onboard glow and I run it with it on all the time.. Better transition, better idle, lower idle. I had a 3 engine Savoia Marchetti on four strokes that i flew for over 2 years without an engine out. I never burned out a glow plug. I actually think it keeps the temp constant and make the element last longer...JMO
