RE: FAA loses planes
804, you took my last sentence to mean something different than what I meant.....but your "take" on it actually adds "AMA related" relevance to my post.
If us flyers ever end up getting treaded on too heavily, I'll fire off letters to my local congressmen. They have paid flunkies to intercept and scan all incoming correspondence, looking for causes that will help further their careers and make their bosses look like heroes.
Once they receive my letter, I'll include a paper clip that they can use for nose weight after they fold my letter into a paper airplane.
In the midst of a Great Recession with record unemployment, home foreclosures and all the other nasty stuff that is going on, the complaints from the guys with the toy airplanes will surely get all the attention they sorely deserve from our law makers.
As far as UAVs are concerned, I don't have any use for them patrolling my skies. If the FAA wants to clamp down on their usage, that's fine with me. I don't want my line of sight RC activity confused with the other and in my opinion the only good UAV is a dead UAV.
Kill them all and let God sort them out.
