The only difference between the CRRC 26CC V1 and the V2 is the mounting system and the length of the crank case as far as I know. Check the CRRC website and see this. They are the same engine with the same specs except for measurements, The V2 is not like a new updated improved version just different measurements. The V2 is longer and kind of looks like a nitro block. V2 uses traditional type engine mounts (included) and the V1 mounts to planes with the wood engine mount box with standoffs (included) if necessary.
I'm going with the V1 in my CMpro Marathon looks like it is made for it and will fit nicely inside the cowl.

You are wrong:
There are MANY difference between CRRC GF26I and the GF26V2 :
Crankcase, crankshaft, bearings, con-rod, needle bearing, seat, propeller hub .... are different. Cylinder is almost the same.
Also there are TWO versions of cranckcase and crankshaft for the V2 and GPR engine , improved now to mount a bigger rear bearing, and NO seal on last version of GF26Iv2/GP26R, but both bearings are sealed now.
