murdnunoc,
Congratulations on your speed search......you did real good.
That is some serious seed.
I had problems trying to log on for the last couple of days, but tonight I managed to do it through the home page....instead of the sign-in button on upper corner of this thread (wouldn't open up a good window to enter user name and pass word).
Better posting late than never.
I'm very impressed....AND YES, that is one mean looking Stryker.
My Crystal ball tells me that you will fly faster within 2 months. [8D]
Hopefully we hear 200 MPH reports by end of Winter.....from anyone.....I love to see you fly at 200 MPH.
Your friend,
Gryphon
Thank you, Gryphon!
No doubt your crystal ball is right that I'll be seeing better speeds with better efficiency early next year.
I think this Green Monster still has some more to give in the meantime. I don't have much reference as to how many watts it takes other motors to turn an 8x8 at 28,100 RPM (in flight), but I have a hunch it's doing pretty good.
I think my batteries are showing some hurt from an earlier mild crash on a previous plane. They got a little bent and don't seem to be putting up voltage like they did before. Thought it was the temperature, but I've flown with them warmed up and they still sag pretty badly.
Since I'm out of stuff to play with on the 6S 6200mah setup, I'm going to have some fun this weekend and put 8S (comprised of 2 new 4S packs) in it to see how deep into supersonic I can turn a 7" prop.
