Dave Gierke designed a great big 80 inch model called the Raven about 1968.

Don't know if the "Raven" was a "pattern-job" or not, but that's what I'm looking for...to see if there was a large-scale, (approx 80" wingspan) pattern plane designed prior to Ed's Simla in early 1965. I don't think there was.
