Default RE: Turbine oil difference

ORIGINAL: Boomerang1

DTE light for me too.

It's strange how many jet flyers won't touch an oil unless it has the word 'jet' on the label.

We are not using 'jet' oil anything like the manufacturer intended, in fact the manufacturers
would probably advise against it's use in our application.

We are really using it in a two stroke like total loss application. - John.
Besides DTE light you can also use Pacemaker T32 from Citco.. it is the EXACT same as Mobile DTE Light. I know 2 other ppl running it in their turbine with no problems what so ever. 1/2 the price as DTE light as well: $90/5gal to $45/5gal. Soon as I finish my DTE light im running it in my jetcentrals'.
