Our kids have outgrown the back seat of our extended cab pickup truck. Wanting something other then a truck I've been looking at all the options. The majority of the time its only me so the airplanes can travel inside. When the rest of the family comes along I am thinking of building a - BIG - roof top box for the airplane and carrying my generator on a hitch platform. The closest contest I attend is 300 miles away making gas mileage paramount.

The roof top box would have a plywood bottom with fiber-glassed pink foam top and sides to keep the weight down..

I'd really like to hear more experiences about mopar mini vans. Late model used ones sell for significantly less than Toyota's or Honda's in our area. Another car I'm looking at is the Honda Element. A friend allowed me to put my 2M in his Element. Surprisingly with the seats folded flat, it fit.
