You have those imperfections also? I thought I was the only one that had those... Getting tired of this rain, need to fly more and get used to flying the new Macchi.. Shawn have you had a chance to look at that stuff James was going to use, Liguid Sheeting? Looks pretty good and easy to use but why do you want to go through all the trouble to paint a race plane, even though I did lolol but the next one will be Monokoat or some type of covering to keep it light

Well I will stick to my glass and resin. I like the idea of adding strength while I seal the wood. Still won't hold up to being T boned though lol. I would have loved to use film covering but considering the cowl, canopy and front upper decks are glass, painting is really the only option. Even though it looks like the 61 powered Macchi will be around 7 lbs. The good news is with all this rain, I finished up and test flew an ARF Bucker Jungman today and have my scratch built 2M pattern airplane all framed up. Just need to cut some wings now.
