RE: Sachs 4.2 Carb Issue
AH, After going back out and looking at the motor the low idle set screw IS (was) still in the motor. I normally would NEVER adjust the fork in such a manner but after many, many tries at getting it set, moving it a very little at a time, the outcome was a last ditch effort that seems to have worked. Like I said, the engine purrs like a kitten!!
Removing the low idle set screw did the trick!! Didn't even notice it. Thanks Bunches!
I'm going to put my tach on it tomorrow (left it at my brothers this weekend....ugg!) and make sure every thing tach's out correctly and then I believe this bird is ready to fly! Its mounted up on a 1/3 scale Walt Mouch PJ-295... Looks great in the air!
