Default RE: Taking tires off wheels?

@ gokimedoro - that is a great tutorial! I was using a piece of shim stock (super thin metal) in place or your lexan like a shoe horn to get the wheel lip into the tire. Shim stock can slice your finger off so I don't recommend it to anyone, especially if you're all thumbs.

I use a small C Clamp and two blocks of wood and press the wheel into the tire, just before the wheel lip goes in I put the shim stock around the wheel press in and pull the shim stock out. Good trick is to push the outside face of wheel into the tire so if you knick anything its the chassis side of the wheel and tire.

There are some good tricks out there on tire mounting, Raikou is going to add a mounting page - I think they are going to have customers send in their tricks. I also use 1"1/2 orings and drop them in the grooves on each side of the wheel, I lube it with tire mount and press it in. The tire mount dries and acts like an adhesive.

I put a little hot glue to hold them in place
