i have found on several occasions that factory preset can vary, and being i don't trust anyone really i decided to start checking these
default settings.
i've found that they are not always correct, most likely cuz some lazy POS and the manufacturer didn't care if it was corret or not.
so, from then on for me it became a rule of thumb to check the manual and make sure they are set correctly.
