That's good to know about the stabs/ailerons. I definitely will do the flaps and slats. Although it already lands pretty slow with high angle of attack I would prefer flaps for the fun factor and to avoid beating the airframe up.
The dealer that sold me my plane (in Bangkok) advised me strongly to balance the rotor better. I look forward to hearing about your results!
