G2 will not allow change to control surface
I'm at work (lunch right now), so I don't have G2 in front of me. I don't remember the settings for adding flaps out of the top of my head.
However, turning the ailerons into flaperons is not very complicated, if you just know how to do it. In all fairness, it took me awhile to figure it out though.
In the airplane editor you can assign servos/channels (I don't remember what the terminology is in G2, and cannot check right now) to the control surfaces.
To have flaperons you modify the airplane to have separate servos for each aileron. There is a tab in the airplane editor where you can do this. Then you go to the radio settings in the editor and modify those. Select the aileron channel and make that control both aileron servos as ailerons (you add an extra tick on the line for your new aileron servo). Then select the flaps channel to control both aileron servos as flaps (make sure only your two aileron servos are ticked). Also check the servo directions. You can reverse the servo directions independently for the aileron servos, if you need.
This is just from the top of my head, so I could have missed something. Please get back to me, if something seems wrong or confusing. I will have a look in G2, when I get home from work.
