Took the Frog out for a little snow bashing on Sunday after some more restorations (re-brushed my Yokomo stock+ motor, re-soldered the motor wires, put in the CRPrear supports, resintalled the rubber boots over the new CVD's and repainted the driver figure). What fun. I sealed up the receiver in a balloon, and let loose on the driveway, yard and street. Donuts, drifts, power slides and some mini-snow-plowing galore. Having never really used an ESC in a buggy before, I can really appreciate the brake function and how it saves me from tearing up the gearbox during power slides.
I had forgotten how well these old things go.
After going through a pack, I brought her in to dry out and make sure everything was OK. All systems still go. Looking forward to another run...
