Gents,
I am new to the process of scale detailing. I will be completing an AT6 in teh next few months and would like to add some panel lines and rivets.

let me see if I have this straight in my head.
you build the plane, glass it or apply whatever finish you chose to use and spary a coat of primer and sand and wet sand smooth
you stick on your chart tape to simulate panel lines
you stick on thousands of these little vinyl dots to simulate rivets and dzus fasteners
then you apply some more primer
you remove the chart tape giving you your panel lines
then you apply paint and viola you have rivets and panel lines...is this correct?

what happens if one of these little vinyl dots comes off? grey primer spot showing through your paint (even more scale realism) humm not a bad idea!
