it uses the two motors for 4wd, like the clod buster. and on 14.4 v it will be more then enough power for that toy grade truck

yeah, the E-maxx's electronics would be reliable, but you said you wanted more power, right? well, those motors in 1/6 scale vehicle aren't gonna give you alot of power, not much more then stock. your best be would be to put in a single brushless system and try it and then later add a second when you got the money. it would be alot more powerful then, and could be geared down for monster torque!
