I have gone through all the contents on this page regarding the problem ofGP- 07, let me share someimportantinformation so that you will be able to enjoy trouble free starting and running.

Me and my friend are fans of small engines apart from the fact we are also using the large size engines. A couple of months back we bought 3 of them and had a heck of a time to start; finally we revealed the secret and here is the remedy.

1. remove the washer between the hub of propeller andcrankcase, reason: when youtightenthepropeller nut, thecrank is too stiff and needs quite some effort to rotate the prop; needless to mention any friction would not allow the engine to start. (if the crank rotates easily no need to remove the washer, which i doubt)

2. open the screw of thesilencer (the long screw) and youwill find a baffle attached to the main portion of theexhaustyou can pull it out very easily, remove it all the way and place back the rear of theexhaust again to it's housing and you are done.

Hopefully the aboveinformationis useful for every one , at the same time please be patient with theprocedure, as this engine is notOS or COX. In any case it needs longer starter.

Surprisingly manufacturer is silent on this issue,
