Default RE: Charlie Kellogg's TBM Avenger Build

Hey there Boyd, I used the aluminum simply because I have always wanted to try that method. I have seen other models where similar "L" shaped pieces were cut from the blue hard plastic boxes used to mount switch in drywall, I have seen parallel hardwood mounts, I have seen hardwood glued to plywood bases, and I have seen the custom machined servo mounts. I just wanted to try for myself, cutting the aluminum pieces and tapping them for the bolts. It was soooooo simple and it worked out very well. Would highly recommend that method. Chic
