Plus RealFlight is a bit of a resource hog when it comes to computer systems. So, for RealFlight you'll need a top of the line gaming computer and video card to be able to utilize it's many features and you'll need to update yearly (some of which will cost additionally) to stay current with the latest changes.
I have to disagree. RealFlight's recomended specs may have been top of the line from 5 years ago, but not anymore. A $35 GeForce8400 vid card would exceed the specs:

The reason I decided against RealFlight was the requirement to alter a security setting to get it to run and that you need online activation.
