Default RE: Howard Engineering - Kwik Fli III – Build

The next task was changing out all the airborne packs. Batteries America sells packs without leads but I got them all with leads to simplify my order. The first task was cutting small openings in the heat shrink to remove the leads and then soldering on the original lead. I use a dab of silicone on the wire end to support the wire at the solder joint. After the soldering is done the battery pack is slid into the case and trim MonoKote used to tape the case.
