I am happy to report my results using a XOAR 18x12 prop. The amp meter recorded a max reading of 58.5 amps at full throttle on the Hacker A50L. This is compared to the APC 18x10 which maxed out at 61.5 amps. So with more pitch (more thrust) I am using about 5% less amps!! I am going to fly the XOAR prop hoping that the extra thrust will help me in the up lines, and also punch through the wind a little better. My only concern will be to see if I am faster in the down lines.

Once the weather warms up I will report the flight differences, but I am encouraged once again that a XOAR prop puts out more thrust for less amp pull.
