It is a very long thread, but near the end there are some data on what one can do to improve their performance. The best I've had was 18700rpm on a 6x3 prop.

I have not seen any baffle on these engines when they come from the factory?
But I have added one myself to improve the fuel draw and I get more consistent runs that way.
