Default RE: GMP'S GoldWing MX2 The Green Machine

Next was the the surfaces control horns. I started by sanding the control horns and cutting out the slots on the surfaces. Now on the ail this was no problem but when it came to the elev's and rudder there is 3 layers of covering and those slots are hard to find. I ask them in the redwing MX thread where the slots were at but I was wanting to do that job so I lifted the covering and cut the slots out. then On a low temp I resealed the covering.
I then installed the ball links on the control horns and epoxied them in place.

No on the rudder control horns I had to sand the back of them to make them a little rounded so as they would go into the slots. I glued my rudder control horns the same way I glued my H stab. But after it dried I noticed it was 3 mm off center.
I put an old blade in my excto knife and using a lighter I heated the blade and after little time I was able to get the horns loose. I then reglued them this time getting them centered
