Nick,
I agree with Paul, mine flies "heavy" also. I prefer to keep the speed up and in the landings too as she does slow down quickly. The flaps work well, with very little elevator coupling needed. Mine seems to need quite a bit of rudder in the turns to make them look good, I'm not sure about others. Paul? I have the Robart retracts in mine and haven't had even 1 little problem with them in over 100 flights, and they seem to make a good bit of speed difference when retracted. I've heard one of the local hobby shops has one in stock, may check into it as this is one of my favorite planes. Good luck and keep us informed.
